John Haslet, the Commander of Delaware's first Continental Regiment who was killed during the Battle of Princeton in 1777. 1897 Mrs. Wilson-Klock of New York City spoke in Lewes's Lyceum on "The mysteries of Maidenhood, Womanhood and Motherhood, in their relationship to health, happiness and beauty." 1982 The Delaware Swedish Colonial Society held its second Midsummerfest at Fort Christina Park in Wilmington. 1991 The 61 students of the last class of the 39 year old Wilmington High School at North du Pont Road and Lancaster Avenue were graduated.
