About the Artist
Thamer Dawood Sudani was born in Baghdad, Iraq in 1966. He received a diploma in Fine Arts at the Institute of Painting in Baghdad in 1986, and a Bachelor's degree from the College of Fine Arts in Baghdad in 2000.
Sudani is a member of Baghdad's Plastic Artists Society and the Iraqi Scribers Association. He is also a member of the Iraqi Artists Association in the US and Canada and the Iraqi Canadian Artists Federation.
Sudani's extensive exhibition history includes venues in Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Abu Dubai, Japan, New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
